It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Powell of Batavia, Illinois, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ralph and Mary Mae Dinger (Reed); her husband Preston Powell; and her siblings, Earl F. Dinger and Edith Hauck (Paul).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis', Sanford "Buss" Eugene Powell of Oil City, PA, Ralph "Sib" Powell (late Judy) of Rolling Meadows, IL, Dennis Lee Powell (Mickey) of Plainfield, IL and Roger LeRoy Powell (Ginny) of Peoria, AZ.; her grandchildren, Adam Powell (Jenny), Cindy Powell Porcaro (Greg), Angie Powell Amelse (Mike), Todd Powell (Kelly), Jill Jesk (Robbie), Lance Powell (Antuanet), Katelyn Powell and Madeline Powell; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Connor Powell, Ben, Frank Porcaro, Preston, Elias Amelse, Ella, Olivia Powell, Gianna, Luca and Leo Jesk.
