It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Joseph Smith of Batavia, Illinois, born in Lebanon, Illinois, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Vera Smith (Gallaway); his sister Francis Cleo; his daughter-in-law Linda; his son Philip; and his wife Sara.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn VanScoik (Kurt) of Indiana, Daniel of Warrenville and Tamara Theall of Geneva; his grandchildren, Sargent Matthew, Eric, Austin VanScoik, Cory Smith, Sara Kuz (Nick), Lauren and Paige Theall; and his siblings, Lois Manahan (Richard) and Ron Smith (Ginnie). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
