He was predeceased by: his parents, Sven Flodstrom and Karin Flodstrom; and his brothers, John Flodstrom and Ingemar Flodstrom. He is survived by: his children, Sonia Anderson (Wesley) and Alexander Flodstrom; his grandchildren, Clara and Ben Anderson; and his siblings, Marguerite Larson, Dorothy Patzer, Maj Olausson, Sven Flodstrom and Gus Flodstrom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Karl's name may be made to the Batavia Public Library.
