He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slowiak and Margaret Slowiak (Norkus); his sister Barbara Somers; his former wife Irene (Dolan); and his stepchildren, Terry and Sharon Regole.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" (Burton); his children, Susan Walton (Wayne) of Virginia, Karen Otis (John) of Palatine, Joseph (Samantha) of Elgin and Emily Slowiak (Cindy Arnold) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Timothy Walton, Alex Kelly (Jeff), Hannah (Anthony), Avalyn Slowiak and Maxwell Slowiak; his stepchildren, John Regole (Amy) of Geneva and Kathy Rissman (Joe) of Hinckley; and also, Anna Regole, Ryan, Adam Prevost (Tara), Rory and Ryla Prevost. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
