He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Essling; and his siblings, Donna Daniels (Max), Sue Sornson, Dale Essling (Lisa), Bill Essling (Biljana), Peter Essling (Kim), Peggy Catalano (Tom) and Mary Banghart (Randy). He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, and several grand nieces and nephews.
