John Norman Freedlund Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2020, at the age of 72, John Norman Freedlund of Batavia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Freedlund and Virginia Freedlund (Anderson); his wife Lynn (Christiansen); his children, Emily Freedlund (Adam Michalak), Daniel Freedlund (Megan), Amy Frankowski (Edward) and Anders Freedlund (Kara); his grandsons, Oscar Frankowski and Otis Freedlund; his brother Jim (Kathy); and his nephew JJ.
Funeral services will be held privately. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions of occupancy, the visitation will be limited.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's name can be made to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry or the St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O. Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326, a charity he has supported for many years.
