He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Nelson; and his grandparents, Howard, Margaret Nelson, Ruth and Carl Magnuson.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Nelson (Magnuson); his stepfather Bill Jackson of Texas; his brothers, Jeremy of North Aurora and Ben (Courtney) of Batavia; his niece Grace; and his nephew Jacob.
