It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean F. Whalen (Batavia, Illinois), born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Sadler and Margaret Sadler; her husband Frank Whalen; her children, Thomas Hearty (Gloria), Kathleen Adams (Chris), Frances Whalen and Margaret Madden (Greg); her grandchildren, Becki Howard (Shey), Mary Staggs (Jonathon), Chris Adams (Lauren), Elizabeth Adams, Abigail, Daniel, Carolyn Whalen, Kevin, Connor Hearty, Sarah and Katie Madden; her great grandchildren, Ryan Howard and Jane Staggs; and her siblings, Nancy Dawes (Harry), John Sadler (Theresa) and James Sadler.
