She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Katherine Elizabeth Misloski (Gillhoover); her husband Robert Peter Smith; her brother James Joseph Misloski; and her grandson Christopher Aaron Saumell.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael of Batavia, IL and Patrick of Geneva, IL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
