He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sweigert and Margaret Sweigert; his wife Joyce Brooking; and his siblings, Jim (Herbert) and Donna Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul Sweigert (Natalie), David Sweigert (Pam) and Dan Sweigert.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - Batavia (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510).
