It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail J. Purcell of Batavia, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Michael; and her parents, Francis Wieczorek and Joan Wieczorek (Davis). She is survived by: her children, Michael Purcell II of Wheeling, Ryan O'Brien of Tampa, Christopher Purcell of Chicago and Caitlin Purcell of Batavia; her fiancé Robert "Rob" Swe of Batavia; and her sisters, Denise Greathouse of DeKalb, Bernice Phelps of Newnan, Georgia and Christina Healy of Chicago. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
