It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Lucille Peterson of Batavia, Illinois, born in Rochelle, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McConnaughay and Opal Emily McConnaughay (Richards); her husband Wilbur A. Peterson; her siblings, Richard, Gene, Robert and Irene Felkey; her son-in-law Dan Catena; and her grandson Daniel Catena.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Catena (Roy Taylor) of South Carolina, Tom Peterson (Rica) and David Peterson (Cindy); her grandchildren, Tania Miller (Matt), Drew Peterson (Jill), Kelli Bellamy (Duane), Eric Peterson (Maria Perez) and Bryan Peterson; her siblings, Esther Flodstrom and Author McConnaughay; her sister-in-law Joanne McConnaughay; her cousins, Mary, Tom and David; and her uncle Pete. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
