He was predeceased by: his father David W. Austin; his grandparents, Ruth, Lloyd Silsbee, Marguerite and Alfred Austin; his great-aunt Lucy Olive Goodings; and his cousin Susan Grewe (Silsbee).
He is survived by: his mother Sharon Bonney Austin (Silsbee); his uncles, Stephen Skellett and David Silsbee; and his cousins, Stephanie McDonald (Skellett), Claire Ann Skellett Berlue, Marsha Jameson (Silsbee) and Mary Ellen Connor (Silsbee). He is also survived by niece, Eloise Bonney Books; nephews.
