With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily C. Pierson of Batavia, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl B. Pierson, Jr.; and her daughter Laura Glassman. She is survived by: her children, Carl "Tug" Pierson III (Judi), Craig Pierson (Sara) and Peggy Pitts (Michael); her son-in-law Steve Glassman; her grandchildren, Ana Pierson, Ian Pierson, Quinn Kenney (Michael), Emily Smith (Luke), Michael Pitts II, Andrew Reimer, Eryn Boyer (Daryl), Tyler Glassman and Courtney Hawk (Dusty); her great grandchild Malachi Smith; and her siblings, Sarah "Sadie" Blomberg and Jim Lemon (Ann). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
