She was predeceased by: her parents, Aksel Lorentsen and Marta Lorentsen; and her husband Cecil Bates. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Kasperson (Phillip) of Gallatin, TN; her grandchildren, Justin Kasperson (Kelsey), Hannah Kelly (Ryan) and Jordan Kasperson (Claudia); her great grandchildren, Noah Kasperson, Alexandra Kelly and Caroline Kelly; and her brother Walter Lorentsen (late Mary). She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187).
