She was predeceased by: her parents, George Frey and Lottie Frey; her husband John A. Carlson; her brother George Frey; and her grandson Jonathan Carlson.

She is survived by: her children, David Carlson, Lynda Warehime (Tom), Nancy Kohler and Wayne Carlson (Kari); her grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew Carlson, Kelli Turner (Zac), Jenna Goble (Adam), Daniel Warehime, Michael Carlson (Samantha) and Kendall Carlson; and her great grandchildren, William and Jackson Turner.
