It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy B. Anderson (Batavia, Illinois), who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bratlie and Stella Bratlie (Johnson); her husband John Anderson; her brother Ernest; her sister-in-law Margitta Bratlie (John); and her nephew Charles (Bill Lechnick).
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Janicek (Alan), Martha White and Peter Anderson; her grandchildren, Beth Pahlicek (Shannon), Charlie Janicek (Heather Whybrew), Kiersten White and Maddie Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Abram and Freya Pahlicek.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Town Center at the Holmstad. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (8 S Lincoln St, Batavia, IL 60510).
