She is survived by: her husband John Ruby of Aurora; her children, Steven Ruby of Aurora and Kirsten Ruby (Gregory Hendrickson) of Urbana; her granddaughters, Holly Ruby (Joshua McCombs) of Pasadena, TX and Tori Ruby of Riverside; her siblings, Valerie Havlick (Spenser) of Boulder, CO and Darryl Hessel (Linda) of Whitesburg, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ruby of Geneva and Evelyn Harris of Harrisburg, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New England Congregational Church (406 W Galena Blvd, Aurora, IL 60506).
