She was predeceased by: her parents, George Batson and Lora Fowler Batson; and her siblings, Cooksey Batson, Dewey Batson, Lillie Cooksey, Sara Rice and Ida Batson.
She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Batson and Earl Batson (Nancy); and her nieces and nephews, David Batson (Darlene), Leshia Bess, Pam Fleming (Relus), Joe Claytor (DeEtta), Sterling Claytor (Leah), Kim Engelman (John) and Beth Batson (Steve). She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Batson's memory may be made to Wheaton College, Batson-Shakespeare Collection or Wheaton College, Dr. Beatrice Batson Scholarship Fund.
