She is survived by: her husband Carl L. Holmgren; her children, Scott Holmgren and Heather Lopez (Holmgren); her grandchildren, Jonathan Holmgren, Jared Holmgren, Jack Holmgren, Linnea Holmgren, Emma Lopez and Isabel Lopez; and her great grandchild Emily Holmgren.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Barbara to be made to Crossway Chapel, Fox Valley, North Aurora.
