She was predeceased by: her parents, Mony Lester and Harta Leona Vander Molen (Peterson); her siblings, Gary Lee and Jean Vander Molen Martin; her granddaughter Kaitlynn Dowd; and her sister-in-law Nancy Vander Molen.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Sorenson (Jeff), Sarah Dowd and Charles Pack (Molly); her grandchildren, Rachel, Michael and Zoe Sorenson; her children, Brooke, Jonathan, Olivia Dowd, Megan O'Hara and Charlie Pack; her great grandchild Noah; her brother Jim Vander Molen; her niece Kay Vander Molen; and her cousin Matthew Jacobs. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - Batavia (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the River Hills Memorial Park (1650 S River St, Batavia, IL 60510).
