Alice S. Dow Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice S. Dow of Batavia, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Mathre and Bertha Mathre (Enger); her husband Bert Dow; her siblings, Carolyn Alsager (Glen), Jane Johnson (Jerry) and Rich Mathre (Alice); and her siblings-in-law, Van Mathre and John Akre.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean McAtee (Don) and Jan Showalter (Kurt); her grandchildren, Jenny Miller (Mike) and Brad Showalter (Jen); her great grandchildren, Joslyn, Cohen, Lenora Showalter, Brayden and Dawson Miller; and her siblings, Lowell Mathre and Bea Akre.
