He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil Dean and Ruth Dean (Henefeld); his spouse Bobbie Myers; his children, Chad Ford (Lisa) of Canton, Shawn Ford of Peoria and Tracy Ford (Tammy) of Danvers, IL; his grandchildren, Matt, Cory Ford of Canton, Derrick Rider (Cristina) of Norfolk, VA. and Brittney Kistner (Kyle) of Phoenix, AZ; and his nephew Trent Diekhoff (Angela) of Johnstown, CO.. He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church.
