He is survived by: his wife Christa Ewers; his children, Jay Ronald Dawson (Barbara) of Peoria and Ann Christine Harrmann (Brett) of East Peoria; his grandchildren, Matthew Dawson of Naperville, Taylor Dawson of East Peoria, Anastasia of Peoria and Alester Dawson of Peoria; and his sister Karen Bohm of Kansas City.
