It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Douglas Penwell (Bartonville, Illinois), born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Penwell and Sarah Penwell (Whaley). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Carrington; his sons, Timothy Penwell and Mark Penwell (Valerie); and his brother Jerry Penwell (Sandy). He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pekin First Nazarene Church.
