It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Sue Monroe of Bartonville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Foster and Francis Foster (Hawkins). She is survived by: her husband Richard Monroe; her sons, Brent Monroe of Des Moines and Mark Monroe of East Peoria; and her sister Jan Welte of Florida. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
