He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Elaine Thome; his children, Diane Cannon (Roger) of St. Louis, MO and Michael Bredernitz (Heidi) of Mapleton; his grandchildren, Jamie, Lisa (Rene), Clint, Kayla, Dan and Kelly; his great grandchild Evan; and his siblings, Jean McMahon (Alex) of Houston, TX and Glenn Bredernitz (Lynn) of Fenton, MI..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Timberlake Country Club, 5501 W. Farmington Road, Peoria, IL 61604.
