He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Lingenfelter and Lola Lingenfelter (Standard); his former wife Winifred June Wood; his wife Lois L. Saylor; and his children, Billy Dean, Patricia Pendley and Betty Elam.

He is survived by: his children, Lola Greer of Peoria, Larry Lingenfelter of Bartonville, Gary Lingenfelter (Sandra) of Bartonville and Ralph Lingenfelter (Goldie) of Peoria; and his sister Mickey Williams of Naples, FL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
