It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gene Johnson of Bartonville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman C. Johnson and Joann Johnson; and his sister Sally Jo Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Paulina Vinovich; his children, Joshua Johnson of Peoria, Jessica Linger (Doug) of Springfield, IL, Sara Johnson of Bellevue, IL, Jennifer Choate of Peoria, Rebekah Johnson of Peoria and Andrea Passage of Peoria; his grandchildren, Austin, Audra, Amber, Elizabeth, Phoenix, Alexis, Victoria, Brody, Parker, Zoey and John; his great grandchildren, Carter, Robby, Willow and Violet; and his sisters, Patty McBride (James) of Peoria and Paula Dooley of Artesia, NM..
