With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Eugene Hess (Bartonville, Illinois), born in Monte Vista, Colorado, who passed away on November 17, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph David and Hazel Ada Hess (Schmittel); his wife Mavis Patricia Hess (McKinney); his children, Deborah Bredeman (Jerry) of Canton, Terry Hess (Debra) of Hanna City and Teresa Kemp (Richard) of Anderson, SC; his grandchildren, Greg Fulton, Stacey Appell (David), Angela Beyer, Andrew Hess and Carrissa Johnson (Joey); his stepgrandson Blake Bredeman (Jena); his siblings, Donald Hess (Isabel) of St. Charles, MO and Myrna Kay Pfister (Jim) of Summerville, SC; his brother-in-law Jack McKinney (Sidnee) of Roseville, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Janet Fraley (Julius), Jeff Pfister, Donna Jean Hess and Stanley Hess. He was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren.
