With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry E. Lingenfelter of Bartonville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lingenfelter and Winifred Lingenfelter (Wood); and his sisters, Patricia Pendley and Betty Elam. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Shay; his children, Sarah Burnett (Brian) of Peoria Heights, Jennifer Cahill (Eric Adams) of Canton and Roy Lingenfelter (Kristin) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah and Jonathan Burnett; and his siblings, Lola Greer, Gary Lingenfelter (Sandra) and Ralph Lingenfelter.

Memorial contributions may be made to TAPS, St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or Wounded Warrior Project.
