She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Meardy and Madeleine Meardy (McReynolds); her husband Carl W. Jarrett; her daughter Linda "Lynn" Marie Hohenbery; and her brother William Meardy.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Curtis Hohenbery (Jennifer) of Ottawa and Chad Hohenbery of Bartonville; her son-in-law Ronald Hohenbery (Susan Vonk) of Chillicothe; and her great grandchildren, Weston and Ryker.

Memorials may be made to the Community Foundation of Illinois to benefit the Linda Hohenbery Scholarship fund.
