He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Laughlin and Maxine Laughlin (Brookshire); and his brothers, Jack and Jerry Laughlin. He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Demmin; his children, Renae Cole (Shannon) of Bartonville and James "Scott" Laughlin of Kennesaw, Georgia; his grandchildren, Seth, Elijah, Isabelle and Kaylee; his great grandchild Liam; and his brothers, David Laughlin (Billie) and John Laughlin (Jo Ellen).
