He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul (JP) and Betty Ann Kovalik (Lunik); and his sister Diane Marie Lessly. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy; and his stepchildren, Patty, Chris and Peggy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel (1203 W Garfield Ave, Bartonville, IL 61607). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Cemetery (1735 S Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
