The memory of James Henry Ragan Jr. (Bartonville, Illinois), who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Darlene Karol Ragan, Sr. (Waldbesser); and his sister Karen Engle. He is survived by: his daughters, Jana Stevens (Jeff) of Peoria and Jacy Smith (Kent) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Grace Stevens, Isabella Stevens, Tyler Smith and Hunter Smith; and his siblings, Michael Ragan (Rochelle) of Hanna City and Janet Burton (Ron) of Peoria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bartonville American Legion (4501 S Airport Rd, Bartonville, IL 61607).

Memorials may be made to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home or the Peoria Honor Flight program.
