He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Levi and Bernice Emma Stear (Gomes); and his brothers, Jack and Gary Stear. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Ramsey; his children, Christopher Stear (Stephanie) of Peoria, Bob Carr (Robin) of Peoria, Michelle Vandegraft (Clark) of Marquette Heights and Marnie Stear of Peoria; his grandchildren, Justin (Marissa), Andrew, Nick, Briar, Zach, Ashley, Meagan, Madi, Sydney and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Rhett and Lilianna; and his brother Denny Stear (Kay) of Pekin.
