We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2024, at the age of 74, Gary Carl Mitchell of Bartonville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mitchell and Mary Mitchell (McFall); and his siblings, Charlotte Mitchell, Janet Sue Hedden, William Lightbody and Richard Mitchell.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Lesones (Martin) of Petersburg, IL; his grandsons, Alex Lesones (Dana) of Metamora and Mathew Lesones of Crete, IL; his siblings, Marilyn of Chicago, Cheryl Koehl (Fred) of Peoria, Mary Lynn Drone (Jeff) of Yates City, IL, Margaret Boyer (Benny) of Pekin, David Mitchell (Karen) of Metamora and Charles McCoy (Kathy) of Pekin; and also Brooklyn Lesones of Metamora. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
