He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Surface and Eugene Roger Batton; his children, Steve Batton (Gina) of Peoria, Brian Batton (Sheila) of Bartonville and Beverly Sutton of Morehouse; his wife Cozette; his sons, Michael and Roger; his sister Rosie; and his granddaughter Tammy. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren.
