He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Vooren and Florence Van Vooren (McRell); his son Kevin James Van Vooren; and his brother Donald Van Vooren. He is survived by: his significant other Rachel; his children, Valerie Yates (Jimmy), Brian Van Vooren and Lori Van Vooren; his grandson Cameron Van Vooren (Bree); his great grandchild Gryffin Eugene; and his close friend Killer.
