She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter P. Peters and Irma Peters (Rice); her granddaughter Danielle Kilpatrick-Karmenzind; her brothers, Pete and Tom Peters; and her son-in-law Mike Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Smith of Hanna City and Karen Kilpatrick of Peoria; her grandsons, Mike Smith of Hanna City, Matt Smith (Katelyn) of Hanna City, Daniel Smith of Hanna City and Nathan Kilpatrick-Karmenzind of Peoria; and her great grandchild Addison Smith of Hanna City.
