He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Young and Florence Young (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Sheila K. Austin of Bartonville; his children, Mike Young (Darlene) of Rudolph, WI, Julie Rohman (Mark) of Peoria and Marie Young (Bob Jump) of Bartonville; his grandchildren, Anne Ziebell, Emily Young, Jacob Morman, Camren Rohman, Salena Jump and Trey Rohman; his great grandchild Josie Shotliff; and his siblings, Don Young, Bonnie Coons and Patty Wissler.

Memorials may be made to the Chillicothe Lions Club.
