She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Thome and Melba Thome. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd A. Bredernitz; her children, Diane Cannon (Roger) of St. Louis, MO and Michael Bredernitz (Heidi) of Mapleton; her grandchildren, Jamie, Lisa (Rene), Clint, Kayla, Dan and Kelly; her great grandchild Evan; and her sister Marilyn Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bartonville Fire Department, 5912 S. Adams St. Bartonville, IL 61607 or St. John Lutheran Church.
