He was predeceased by: his parents, William Durham and Bessie Durham (Gordon); his son-in-law Danny Johanson; and his siblings, Robert Durham, Richard Durham (Mary) and Lucille Shaw (Don).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (Pye); his daughters, Becky Johanson (Danny) of Mapleton and Debbie Jacobs (Jim) of Bartonville; his grandchildren, Tabitha Scanlon (Erik), Jenna Williams (Mike), Shayanna and Teala Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Hayley, Hudson Scanlon and Cole Williams; and his siblings, Katie Stolin (Bernie) of East Peoria, Gloria Raef of Pennsylvania, Rebecca Kiefer of Peoria, Ron Durham (Karen) of Bartonville, Carol Sue Rivers (Dave) of Michigan and Steven Durham of California. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
