With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David A. Harken (Bartonville, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Warner L. Harken; his children, Dalynn, Kenner and Bart; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Catherine Uphoff; and his sister-in-law Lori Harken.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Harken (Cawley) of Peoria; his wife Valerie Uphoff; his son Joshua Harken (Kelly) of Peoria; his grandchildren, A. J., Mason and Eliza; his brothers, Steve Harken (Sherry) of Peoria and Raymond Harken of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Uphoff (Nancy) of Beason, IL and Doug Uphoff (Deanna) of Champaign, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the Covid 19 virus, private graveside services will be in St John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St John's Lutheran Church or the St. Jude Bartonville to Peoria run.
