With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Jeanne James (Bartonville, Illinois), born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2019 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Krumtinger and Roberta Marley Krumtinger; and her great grandchild Bowden Simmons. She is survived by: her spouse William E. Simmons; her children, Lex "Tommy" Simmons of Peoria, William "Curtis" Simmons of Bellevue, Dennis Simmons (Lisa) of Washington, Greg Simmons (Julie) of Springfield and Julie Recar (Andy Price) of Peoria; and her sister Roberta "Bobbie" Gardner (David) of Morton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
