He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrel Kenneth Freeman and Wilma Miller; and his siblings, Lawrence, Roger, Judy and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Ann Freeman (Cooper); his sons, Byrel Jr. " Doug" Freeman and Jeff; his grandchildren, Tyler Freeman and Kayli Freeman (Nick Hopkins); and his siblings, Jess Freeman (Jackie), Jackie Miller (Jill), Theresa and Michelle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bartonville American Legion Post 979 (4501 S Airport Rd, Bartonville, IL 61607).
