He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Heilemann and Helen Heilemann (Greene); his sister Lynn Miles; his daughter Jill Rion; and his great grandchild Mia.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" (Phelps); his children, Julie Stevens (Ken Wright) of South Elgin, Tom (Chrissy), Tim (Lori) of Hampshire and Chris Marcilliott (Shelly Godgart); his grandchildren, Heather Lopez (Cesar), Donnie Rion (Mel Delgado), Rachel Rion (Chris Youngbuth), Katie Johnson (Adam), Danny Stevens (Celeste Dicosola), Jenna Rion, Tyler Burns, Josh Wright, McLaren Marcilliott, Liam and Isabella Heilemann; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Charlotte, Alina, Nolan, Dominick, Andrew, Rosemary, Jonathan, Kasey and Jackson; his brother Larry (Anita) of Elgin; and his son-in-law Don Rion of Bartlett. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
