He was predeceased by: his daughter Judy Blondin (Greg); and his sisters, Lorraine Martin and Barbara Boyack. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Jean Gazda (Steve), Joyce Smith (Greg), JoAnne McQuade (Greg) and Proud; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kristin, Lucas, Rebecca, Marcus, Jordan, Greg, Kaleigh and Emily.
