He is survived by: his spouse Milica; his children, Zeljko (Jelena) and Nena Tarbuk; and his grandchildren, Maja and Marko.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Gracanica Monastery (35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60030). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Cemetery (35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60030).
