She was predeceased by: her grandmother Okanta Obrantiri II (Beatrice Quashie Walker); and her siblings, Dr. Emmanuel Dade Walker, Augusta Asare-Djan and Nancy Larbi. She is survived by: her aunt Julie; her husband Dr. David Sam; her children, Michelle Sam and David Charles Sam; and her siblings, Sam Walker (Beverly), Vida Afriyie (Archibald), Felicia Ofori-Atta, Felix Walker, Emily Ntow Appiah, Alfred Walker (Monica) and Dinah Adibu (George). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
